CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING11:00:00250325000859R/O responded to a report of demonstration activity in a room in a Senate Office Building. Once on the scene, R/O observed multiple individuals shouting and screaming in effort to disrupt an active committee hearing. The Suspects were directed to cease and desist their demonstration activity but refused to comply. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT19:46:00250325000870R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 200 Block of Constitution Avenue NW make a right turn from the middle lane onto Third Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Third Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed the Suspect did not possess a valid driver’s permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.

NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS16:58:00250325000867R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the Unit Block of Second Street SE with no front tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Second Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of vehicle tag and VIN revealed the tag belonged to a different vehicle. A WALES/NCIC of the Suspect revealed the Suspect did not possess a valid drivers permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS2:53:00250325000856R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE with one light running. R/O conducted a traffic stop at Second and F Streets NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the revealed the vehicle tags belonged to another vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed the Suspect did not possess a valid drivers permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT (THEFT FROM BUILDING)16:00:00250324000848R/O was contacted by the Complainant in regards to a theft within a House Office Building. The Complainant stated they placed several items, including three books and some paperwork, on top of a box located on the third floor lobby prior to briefly leaving the area in order to make a delivery. Upon returning a few minutes later, the items were missing. Attempts to locate the items met with negative results. CIS was advised of the offense and will continue to investigate.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE – 1ST OFF + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL0:37:00250323000829R/O observed a vehicle in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW with the driver who appeared unconscious with their head slumped over their shoulder. The vehicle was running with headlights on and parked in the right lane facing westbound. Upon approach, R/O attempted to wake the Suspect by knocking on the window several times before awakening. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed slurred speech and detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect’s breath. R/O also observed what appeared to be an open container of an alcoholic beverage in the center console. SFST’s were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT7:27:00250323000830R/O observed a vehicle fail to initiate a complete stop at the intersection of Pennsylvania and Independence Avenues SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect’s passport revealed the Suspect did not possess a valid drivers license in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT21:23:00250323000831R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect’s Maryland Identification Card revealed the Suspect did not possess a valid drivers license in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + FLEEING FROM A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL – VEHICLE LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS RECKLESS DRIVING1:05:0025032200823R/O observed a vehicle with no running headlights on, traveling westbound in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag returned with no registration on file in Virginia. A traffic stop was attempted in the 200 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW, at which time the Suspect vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and failed to stop for a red traffic light. During a routine patrol of the area, R/O entered the Third Street Tunnel southbound from Fourth Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW and observed the same Suspect vehicle stopped with extensive and disabling damage. Upon approach, R/O confirmed the license plate on the rear bumper of the crashed vehicle and the eluding vehicle were the same. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. Further investigation revealed the vehicle identification number did not match the tag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, A/O found an open bottle of Tequila on the passenger side floorboard which was consistent of an alcoholic beverage.
